Claus 'N' Paws | December 1st - Join Zoo Boise for Claus 'N' Paws, a FREE admission day! It's their way to thank the community for all the support you've given Zoo Boise throughout the year. Santa Claus will be there for photo opportunities, for a small donation which benefits zoo programs. There will be holiday crafts and face painting, as well. You won't want to miss the zoo residents getting their holiday gifts.

Children's Winterland Festival | December 8th - The Children's Winterland Festival is a wonderful community event that is designed to get everyone into the Christmas spirit and collect food for the Meridian Food Bank! Bring your kids to Meridian City Hall from 10AM - 3PM so they can enjoy a variety of Christmas themed games and activities including pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, toy building, ornament making, Christmas card making, letters to Santa, and much more! This is a FREE event with a food donation of any size.

Oak Ridge Boys - Shine the Light on Christmas | Morrison Center | December 3rd
Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys will be coming to Boise to spread some holiday cheer. A mix of traditional and contemporary songs, including some from their seven bestselling Christmas CD will be performed. Expect an evening of holiday cheer and a segment where each member shares personal thoughts about Christmas.

Annual Holiday Concert | Morrison Center | December 7th
Come and join the Boise State University Music Department as they perform their Annual Holiday Concert. Boise State Univeristy Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni are eligible for a FREE ticket. Valid ID must be presented - limit 1 FREE ticket per ID. FREE tickets available at Morrison Center Box Office only.

Thanksgiving & Christmas Shows and Entertainment

Winter Garden aGlow | Nov. 23rd - Jan. 1st - You may have seen the Garden in bloom in summer, but have you seen it glow in the winter? The 19th Annual Winter Garden aGlow at the Idaho Botanical Garden! See the dazzling display of over 300,000 sparkling lights artfully displayed throughout the holiday season. Special guests Santa and his reindeer Prancer will visit from the North Pole select nights and the Holiday Express, a G-scale model train, will wind its way through the glowing winter wonderland. Local choirs will fill the air with music on select nights.

5th Annual Winter Lights Parade | Dec. 1st - Downtown Meridian will glow with Christmas spirit on the evening of December 1st, 2017 as the City of Meridian hosts the 5th Annual Winter Lights Parade presented by Borton-Lakey Law and Policy with fireworks presented by Mountain America Credit Union. The parade will light up the night in a fantastic display your family will love. The evening will culminate with the lighting of Meridian's Christmas Tree in Generations Plaza on the corner of Main and Idaho.

Treasure Valley Night Light Holiday Parade & Celebration | Dec. 2nd - The banks of Indian Creek in downtown Caldwell will soon be aglow with 500,000 LED lights for the holiday season. The event runs from 6PM-9PM. It will include hayrides, a petting zoo, live entertainment from several choirs and the lighting ceremony. The parade route is Georgia and Blaine down Blaine to 5th Avenue.

Visit with Santa at The Village | Nov. 18th - Dec. 24th - See the Big Guy before the Big Day! Visit Santa in his cozy house this holiday season Monday - Saturday 12pm-7:00pm, Sunday 12pm-6pm. Santa takes a break daily to check on his reindeer from 3:30pm-4:00pm. December 24th hours: 12:00pm-4:00pm (line will be cut off at 3:00pm).

33rd Annual Christmas Run | Dec. 23rd - Celebrate the holiday season as a family by running or walking together. Your choices include the one-mile Reindeer Dash, as well as two-mile and six-mile runs. The annual Christmas Costume Contest will be held at 9:30 a.m. on the Boise High steps. The race starts and finishes at Boise High School.
