Boise Holiday Parade - The Boise Holiday Parade starts on Jefferson and 10th Street. Make sure to bundle up and bring the whole family to kick off the holiday season! November 19th at 9:45AM. View the parade route online and plan your visit downtown. This year's Grand Marshall is Marcellus Brown, Professor of Music at BSU.

Idaho Food Bank Empty Bowls 2016 - Enjoy delicious soup prepared by local restaurants in a bowl hand-crafted by local artisans, amateur artists, and studios on November 25th from 11AM to 2PM at Boise Centre on the Grove. The funds raised by this event helps to provide free food assistance to those badly in need this winter. There will be more than 3,000 bowls to choose from, and bowls start at $10. Free parking in downtown Boise on Friday.

Winter Garden aGlow - Held at the beautiful Idaho Botanical Garden, don't miss out on this holiday display of over 300,000 glorious lights. Holiday lights in downtown Boise can be viewed from the upper garden. Enjoy this beautiful event on November 24th to January 1st from 6PM to 8:30PM. Special guests Santa and his reindeer Prancer will visit from the North Pole select nights and the Holiday Express!

Winter Jam | November 17th - The mega Winter Jam Tour Spectacular is set to return to the West Coast in November with GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriters Matthew West and Crowder leading an all-star lineup. The world’s largest annual Christian music tour, will feature Britt Nicole, RED, Mandisa, NewSong, KB/Tedashii and evangelist Tony Nolan. In addition, the Pre-Jam Party is slated to showcase OBB, Sarah Reeves and Steven Malcolm. Get your ticket now!

Celtic Thunder | November 17th - Celtic Thunder is one of public television's top stars, having sold over one million CD's and DVD's and having performed hundreds of concerts. In 2009 Celtic Thunder performed at the White House and has opened the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York in 2008 and 2009. Their performances have also been on the Today Show and on numerous TV shows in major cities. Bring your family to this magical event and experience the rich heritage of the Celts and the musical culture of Ireland.

Hymns of Thanksgiving | November 20th - A community choir and orchestra of about 350 musicians have been organized to present this event of giving thanks. The event is, and always has been free, and no tickets are required. It is a gift to the community and state. Bring your family and remember to give thanks.

Festival of Trees | November 23rd - 27th - What began in 1984 as a modest display of 14 trees in a local warehouse has grown to become a yuletide extravaganza that has raised over $5 million to improve healthcare in our community - proving that Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees is more than just the hottest holiday ticket in town, it is a celebration of what can happen when people work together for a greater good. Boise Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration| November 25th - Be sure to attend the 2016 Boise Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration, presented by Zions Bank, held at the Boise Centre on the Grove on November 25th. There will be many holiday events scheduled like live music, caroling, and the candle lighting ceremony. There will also be food and beverages. Bring your family and welcome the holiday season to the City of Trees. Make sure to dress for the cold!

Canyon County Festival of Trees| November 25th - 28th - The Canyon County Festival of Trees raises funds to help Meals on Wheels programs in Nampa and Caldwell. Events include a book sale, silent auctions, photos with Santa, and workshops. Help provide meals for homebound neighbors in our communities.

BFM Winter Market | 8th & Fulton Downtown Boise - Beginning November 5th, every Saturday through December 17th the Saturday Market takes a festive turn and becomes the Holiday Farmer's Market! Featuring holiday wreaths and floral arrangements, fresh winter produce, local specialty foods and wines, as well as locally made arts and crafts. Come get your holiday shopping done while also supporting local Boise farmers and businesses.

Canyon County Christmas Show | Ford Idaho Center Nampa - An annual holiday event people look forward to every year! This year's date is November 18th - 20th at the Ford Idaho Center. Get gift ideas for friends and family and, as always, the kids can meet Santa! It's fun for the whole family. Don't forget that the Boise Christmas show is in December!

66th Annual Ski Swap | Expo Idaho - The Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation 64th Annual Ski Swap will be held at Expo Idaho on November 4th - 6th. Show hours are 3PM to 10PM Friday, 10AM to 8PM Saturday, and 10AM to 3PM Sunday. The cost to attend the show is $3 and FREE on Sunday with a canned food donation. Don't miss this opportunity to purchase ski equipment for Christmas gifts or for the upcoming ski season.
