Established in 1986, Saint Alphonsus Life Flight has grown to be the leading rapid air medical transport system in the region. By combining our critical care training and experience with the latest technology and a state-of-the-art emergency dispatch center we have continued to maximize our quality of service while increasing our ability to quickly and safely respond to patients in emergency situations.
Within Idaho Borders and Beyond
With bases in Boise, Twin Falls, and now McCall Idaho Saint Alphonsus Life Flight provides critical care transport to the broadest geographic areas in Idaho and neighboring states. Life Flight is also the only emergency medical transport service to enhance safety and aid wilderness rescue by adding state-of-the-art aviation technologies, such as real-time GPS tracking and night vision goggles. Now, Life Flight can use these additional resources to locate and respond to patients in more remote, dark, and mountainous terrains.
Ultimately, these enhancements can provide more people greater access to advanced emergency health care and safe rapid transport.
Life Flight Membership Details
Annual $50 membership covers you, your spouse and unmarried dependents you claim on your income tax return.
Members will not incur out-of-pocket expenses for medically necessary emergency flights in our service area and by our reciprocal partners.
At your request, 10 percent of your membership fee will be donated to the local ambulance, fire or first responder unit you designate in your community.
Life Flight Membership Benefits
Saint Alphonsus Life Flight will bill your insurance company directly for any medically necessary flight you take, and we will accept their payment, regardless of the amount, as paid in full on your account.
Saint Alphonsus Life Flight will cover all air medical transport expenses if you do not have medical insurance.
At your request, Saint Alphonsus Life Flight will donate ten percent of your membership fee to the local ambulance, quick response unit, fire department or community first responders in your neighborhood.
