Idaho Shakespeare Festival
Since 1977 Idaho audiences have enjoyed Shakespeare's famous tragedies or comedies. The 600-seat Shakespeare Festival amphitheater is situated in a nature preserve in the scenic Boise foothills.
This thespian festival takes place every summer from June through September at an outdoor amphitheater East of Downtown Boise on Warm Springs Avenue. Situated along the Boise River, the amphitheater allows the audience to view stunning Idaho scenery while appreciating the nuances of Shakespearean theater.
