The Boise River Festival was a citywide Boise celebration that reflected the joy, beauty, and character of Boise's people and environment. It was Boise's perfect blend of metropolitan and small town images that made it a natural host for this great event.

"America's Finest Family Festival"
Thirteen years of being a celebrated Boise event is something Boise will always to be proud of. At the last fireworks explosion which brought the 2003 Boise River Festival to a close, I doubt there were many people in attendance wondering if the 2004 Boise River Festival would become an event of the past.

The Boise River Festival is Over - But Boise Still Celebrates
The focus of Idahoans after the Boise River Festival discontinued the celebration was the absence of outstanding entertainment, spectacular performing arts, unique arts and crafts, hot air balloons and those great fireworks displays. However there are still celebrations throughout the year that have some of the same elements that the River Festival promoted.
