Founded in May 2009, the Boise Buccaneers started in the UIFL (Utah Indoor Football League) as an exhibition season before becoming the newest team of the PDFL (Professional Developmental Football League).

Boise Buccaneers - Football is Back
The PDFL encourages teams to reach out to their community, sponsering events like free community BBQ's and youth football camps. In addition, televised games bring attention to local businesseses and attractions. By involving the community, we will be able to run the team efficiently....where the players can primarily concentrate on playing. Community support will help out the neccessities of running a team of this type.
Former BSU Broncos and Boise Burn Football Players
The Boise Buccaneers will provide a platform for former collegiate athletes to continue their career, while attempting to reach their goal of playing at the next level. Our efforts will land former Burn and Broncos players, but will include any local talent that can play at the next level.
The Boise Buccaneers will begin play on May 15th, 2010 at Mustang Memorial Stadium in Melba, Idaho.
