4H in Ada County, Idaho
Idaho kicked off this historic event on October 15, 2001 by up linking a Local Conversation to counties throughout Idaho.
Idaho citizens concerned about creating a positive agenda for youth in their communities gathered in small groups throughout the state.
Part of their agenda for that evening was to identify actions to be taken in the next 3 - 5 years to make their community a more positive place for youth.
The purpose of the 4-H program is to assist youth in realizing their full potential and to help them develop a positive image of themselves.
