Summer at Zoo Boise
Zoo Boise has more to offer this summer than ever before! With several new exhibits and most exciting are their new interactive exhibits; the Giraffe Encounter, Wallaby Walkabout, Farm Animal Feeding Station, the Conservation Cruise all going on, you've never seen Zoo Boise like this! And, ending soon, And, ending soon, the last Ice Cream Zoofari of this year is going on Aug 5th and August is the last month they will be doing Breakfast with the Lions, going on most Saturdays (reservations required).
Shakespeare Festival
Started in 1977 this annual tradition is still going strong! An ideal way to spend a summer evening in Boise, with only two months left to enjoy this season's performances! This month's shows include; "An Ideal Husband" playing July 16th-27th and "Othello" running Aug 6th-29th.
2010 Western Idaho Fair at Expo Idaho
It's that time again, time to see the animals, arts and crafts, eat the fair food, ride the carnival rides and see the amazing concerts. The Western Idaho Fair is August 20th-29th from 11am-11pm.

Vans Warped Tour
The Vans Warped Tour is back! If you're unfamiliar this has been a touring music & extreme sports festival since 1995 that now tours internationally. Coming through town and stopping August 13th in Nampa at the Idaho Center Amphitheatre! With over 80 bands coming through - it's a concert not to be missed. Check the website for the list of bands playing in your area.
